Business Policies

Our regular business hours are 9am to 1pm Monday to Friday.
The Client shall make a non-refundable retainer payment of 100€ to the Photographer to perform the services specified herein. Upon payment, Photographer will reserve the time and date agreed upon by both parties. Photographer has the right to cancel sessions for which retainer has not been paid. Balance for mini sessions should be paid in full in advance.
If you, or anyone being photographed, are feeling sick we do suggest rescheduling. Sick people generally do not enjoy being photographed and this will show in your portraits. In the event that photographer is sick, session will be resheduled. Resheduling must be done in the same calendar year.
Reshoots are offered at the discretion of the photographer only and will not incur an additional session fee. We do not offer to reshoot for unfortunate personal choices such as hair, clothing, etc.
Photographer shall supply the setup and props necessary for the session. If client wants something different or extra to that provided by the photographer, the Client shall be supplying it. Photographer can supply some outfits but is not obligated to provide outfits for session.
Please do not bring your own camera, camcorder or any other recording devices to your session, or allow any family members to do so. If this situation occurs, the photographer reserves the right to terminate the session. If your session is terminated in this way, there will be no refund given.
If the Photographer is unable to perform the session due to baby’s disposition, condition, or circumstances listed within this contract, the Client shall be allowed to reschedule at Photographer’s discretion.
Full payment is due at the time of ordering. After your choice has been made Little Pea Photography will issue an invoice for the order that has been made. No orders will be processed before full payment for order is settled. Each image is printed to order and cannot be changed or cancelled after payment has been made. All sales are final on payment. Once an order is sent to the lab or digital files are submitted to the client either by CD, USB, electronic transfer or email, the order is deemed non-refundable. Payments may be made in cash, cheque, bank transfer or paypal.
Edits will be approved for colour and in-person on our calibrated monitor. Only font, style, spelling and wording may be approved through electronically emailed proof. Requests for reprints due to colour shift on emailed proofs will not be honoured.
The Photographer shall own the copyright of all images created and shall have the exclusive right to make reproductions for marketing materials, competition, portfolio entries and sample products, or for display within the Photographer’s studio. Photographer does not have the right to post images online without consent from the Client. If the Photographer desires to make other uses, the Photographer shall not do so without first obtaining the written permission of the Client. It is understood that any alteration of original images is strictly prohibited without the written permission of the Photographer.
All ordered images are archived for one year from the date of your initial order. Unordered images are deleted from our archives after session is finalised. Due to the nature of digital files Little Pea will not be held liable for any corrupted or lost edited files, so please take good care of your digital files, that is why Little Pea always encourages printing of your images. Printed images are timeless, digital images are not.
Prices are subject to change at any time. Your price is locked on settling of the retainer payment.
If the Photographer is unable to perform this agreement due to illness, emergency, fire, casualty, strike, act of God, power cut or causes beyond the control of the Photographer, the Photographer and Client shall make every attempt to reschedule the session. If a reschedule is unable to be agreed upon, Photographer shall return the retainer to the client and shall have no further liability. Further, if the Photographer is unable to deliver photographic materials due to technological malfunctions, including but not limited to camera and processing, or otherwise lost or damaged without fault of the Photographer, Photographer shall return the retainer to the client or reshedule and shall have no further liability.
These policies will be shown to client to read and understand prior to booking. Proceeding with booking means that you have read, understood and agreed to all the policies.
If Client requests to amend or cancel this agreement 14 or more calendar days before the session date, the retainer shall be applied to a mutually agreed upon reschedule date. If Client cancels this agreement, or fails to show, this agreement 14 or less calendar days before the session date, the retainer shall be forfeited. Client understands and agrees that Photographer will not book other sessions during this time. In the event that Client cancels the portrait session or fails to attend the session on the Session Date, for any reason, Photographer shall suffer losses that are difficult to ascertain.
Any Client that is late arriving to the session will have the amount of time late deducted from the time allotted for the session. Mini sessions are booked back to back, so late arrival might mean cancellation of your session.
For Newborn sessions the Client shall try to keep the baby awake for two hours before the session. If baby has dry skin lotion should be applied to the area. The baby must be dressed in front opening loose fitting clothing for ease of change. On coming to studio the client should undress the baby, leave with nappy only and wrap in blanket. The Client should feed the baby a full feed right before the session and then try to put baby to sleep. The Client shall bring at least three bottles for feeding or supplies for nursing to last 4 hours. During session some babies feed more than normal so best to bring extra. For breast fed babies being supplemented by a bottle feed every so often best to bottle feed baby prior to session to have a more setled baby. If using a pacifier Client shall supply it.
For older babies make sure that they are well rested and fed before session. Tired and hungry babies do not like to be photographed. This point is very important for tummy time sessions.
For parents shots with newborns, ideally mums should wear white/cream or any other light coloured dress or shirts with no prints. If you do not have a dress will be supplied, if so please come wearing nude coloured underwear. Dad can wear a white shirt and jeans or trousers. Siblings should follow the same clothing suggestions.
Be prepared to spend up to 2 hours at your session (4 hours for newborn). This allows us to relax and not feel rushed.
The Client shall maintain control of other subjects including siblings. It is the responsibility of the Client to ensure the cooperation of additional subjects as not to intrude on the baby’s immediate area. The Client shall provide all necessary controls over additional subjects.Additional subjects during session tend to be distracting to kids so please keep to a minimum. Parents tend to get stressed out when siblings do not behave during session. Do not take it personally when I suggest they are best picked up or they leave after their part of the session is ready especially for longer newborn sessions or for someone to take them for a walk to the nearby swings until end of session.
Images are best chosen after session. So please try to allocate an extra hour for this after sesion. If this will not be possible an ordering appointment should be scheduled within two weeks of the session to remain in the workflow. Decision makers should be present during ordering appointment. Session fee includes just one ordering appointment. A 30 euro fee will apply for additional ordering appointments.
All images receive full retouching. We only retouch temporary things such as stray hairs, spots, acne, etc. If it is permanent, such as a birthmark or scar we will not retouch or remove it unless specifically asked.
Little Pea Photography takes every care to edit and supply beautiful images and hence no unedited images are given out to Client. Only purchased edited images are given.
Please allow 4-8 weeks from order payment for your edits to be completed. Prints and product delivery will take an additional 4 weeks. Some orders may take longer during busy seasons. Your portraits are an investment and an heirloom that should not be rushed.
The Client shall only use the prints, including digital files, in accordance with the permissions within this agreement. The Client’s prints are for personal use only and shall not be submitted to contests, reproduced for commercial use or authorize any reproductions by parties other than the Photographer.
We keep all images on file for 1 year after your initial order. You may place a reprint order at any time.
From time to time we will run special promotions. These sessions are run for a limited time only and session spots fill up fast. If all session slots are full the photographer is under no obligation to extend the promotion or match the offer past the expiration date.
The client releases Little Pea Photography, owner and employees of Little Pea Photography, from all liabilities, claims and damages that may result from any accidents, incidents or injury that may happen to you or your family members during the session in studio, on location or immediate surroundings. Little Pea Photography will not be held liable for any damage to your property during the photo session or while on studio premises.
